3 Ch Shows in 3 days in Tromso ( way up North In Norway )They were all the same.Terribly cold, wet ,windy and outside!!. But we had a great time- especially when we got back to our warm and rather untidy hut-as we had nowhere to dry our soaking wet clothes or the dogs beddings .It looked like a chinese Laundry

They have an interesting judging and grading system here in Scandinavia.Red ribbon- you carry on to next class, Blue ribbon on its own -You are out,Yellow 3rd place- out- or part of the final placing ??  Purple is a honorary place---good to have so you keep going- A pink Ribbon is Champion Quality. CK- Excellent - We want plenty of them .The national colours..and you get  CERT or for us the CC . BOB  are more-  multy coloured ribbons...This system was far to compicated for me to understand so I just followed what the Judge said. Great as many of the judges I met didn’t understand the system either.But it worked out fine.As long as we kept getting the reds.purples and pinks we were very happy..Even more happy when we WON over all..The beauty of dog shows in Europe- you get a written Critque there and then.Even if your dog is terrible - Drawback ! Judging takes a very long time to finish.

4 c .A  BITTERLY  COLD ,WET (just waiting for the snow to arrive ) and WINDY Ch Show .In  TROMSO Just look at us all plenty oflayers of clothing.We are a long way up north and a long way past the Arctic Circle.This was our first Ch Shows in Norway. June 9th   2006. Tough vikings. Don’t worry, our dogs were kept warmer than we were.

10 /06 Norwegian Dalmatian Club Troms & Finmark. Judge Ake Cronander So what did we do.. Pia a blue ribbon - so out she wentSky a red ribbon   and Moss a Red and purple ribbon..So not a very  good day at the show -but great for sightseeing .

Drammen Nr Oslo- Norway  18 th June NKK-Judge Mrs L DeRidder- Belgium . Not our day here. Pia A red and a Blue ribbon and Sky only a Blue..But it was still great as we met up with MAYA -CHANDHALLY SNOW FLAKE who did rather well.-They had travelled over from Sweden.

    Here we are in Vestnes.”West coast- Norway 2 Seperate shows. Day one  and CHANDHALLY SNOW QUEEN won CERT (BCC) & BOB and 4th BIS Judge was Ritva Rait from Finland

    The following day CHANDHALLY SNOW QUEEN again got CERT (BCC) & BOB with 3rd in the group.Judge was Mr Poul J Ornemark (DK)

Family re-union  MAYA -MOSS- SKY and PIA Drammen - Norway 18 06 2006  Asa Boholm -Sweden - and  my  Sister -In- law Berit -Norway

Before these 2 Ch Shows we had attended 3 other Ch Shows and CHANDHALLY SNOW QUEEN was awarded 3 HP (honorary price & 2 CK- champion quality certificates  A 2nd a 3rd in winners class CHANDHALLY CHANTILLY LACE got a 3rd  and a 4th in winners class

We then travelled over to Sweden- 14 to 16thJuly - HOGBO BRUK -for their 3 day big International Ch Show.We were again competing with Dalmatians from as far afield as Russia to Italy.A slightly different judging system from what we had experienced in Norway but we still took 4 CK-Champion Quality Certificates with 5 Excellent gradings. So a super result from there.

Denmark-Brondby 4 Day International Ch show at the end if July .What an absolutely super time we had  Chandhally Snow Queen who took 4 CK-champion Quality Certificates. Pia and Judge Mr Valez-Pico

Finally we went over to Holland  in November to Bleiswijk International Ch Show.Near Rotterdam and over to Belgium And what a trip that turned out to be..

And then we went 5th in Group under Judge          Mr JJBerg (Holland)

Next day we drove to Brussels and took part in the Belgian Dalmatian Clubs Special Ch.Show. A super entry of around 100 Dalmatians from all over Europe .Our Judge was Mrs. M Bailey (Irel)
